My parents moved into a house on Thelma built in the 40s about a year before I was born. (Please remember I am telling some of my stories there are many more from my mom and brother and other family members. ) The first thing I encountered that I can remember was I was about 5 or 6 and my mom was taking a shower. I went to the kitchen to get some chips. (I have to pass the dining room to get to the kitchen. ) I came out of the kitchen with my snack and looked to my right at the corner of the dining room, and I saw a little figure bunched up in the corner.
It appeared to be a little girl. She had pig tails and an Easter type dress. I screamed and ran to my bathroom to bang on the door to my mother to let me in because I thought it was coming after me. My brother and cousin also saw her. My brother came out of the kitchen with food, and he felt something tug on his shirt like a little kid. My cousin stayed the night, and he saw the little girl running up and down the hall.

About seven years later of seeing this little girl and other entities my neighbors finally told us about the history of the house. Apparently there was an old couple that lived there, and the woman died. They had a granddaughter, and someone killed the little girl in the house. His favorite place in the house was my brother's closet and the garage. I had my cousin over, and her little sister had to come too. We told her to sleep in the closet (prior to finding about the story. ) She fell asleep in a deep sleep and popped her eyes open and screamed immediately. She ran out of the room into my mom's room. I refused to go back into the house after finding out about what happened there. People in that area (La Cresta area) played with Ouija boards and had séances. We now moved out of that house.

A few friends of mine from Bakersfield decided to drive to the coastal area and enjoy a scenic trip through a back road in a very woodsy area. It was a nice relaxing trip, and the weather was perfect. It was getting close to sunset, so we got out and started hiking. We came upon a huge maze of rocks forming a circular design. It looked like it was designed to meditate. One person took pictures on her phone as another friend and. I walked toward the center of the labyrinthine. Just as we got almost to the center, we heard sounds like a snake hissing. Sensing danger, we ran back almost tripped over some rocks, but we knew we had to get out now!
