We walked back to the bridge we had crossed, and suddenly it was pitch dark. There were lights on the path, but they blacked out as we neared them leaving us on our own. About halfway across that bridge there were loud ear piercing screams all around us. First over our heads in the trees then right behind us and so close I felt its breath -- the scariest chilling screams I ever heard. We finally got back to the car, and we just raced out of there.

Next night my friend called to tell us she uploaded the pictures from the labyrinth, and there was a woman with dark waist length hair in a white flowing

gown standing in the center of the circle. There was no one there but us that day. She looked like a witch, and we still wonder if she was the hissing sound that made us leave that day.

Back in the early 70s my sister and I were at a creepy old house in Oildale with our boyfriends. It was about midnight the guys left to pick up a friend. After about half an hour we heard someone running on the roof. It was so loud and heavy the walls were shaking. We were so scared; we couldn't do anything but scream. There was no animal in that area that could possibly make that much noise. It went on for at least 15 or 20 minutes. As we huddled in the bedroom I noticed an open window by the bed. I ran to it and just as I got to it, a large hand was reaching in. Somehow I fought through the fear and slammed that window shut. The arm was positioned from the top of the glass, so whatever it was it was reaching from the roof. Finally the guys came back, but after checking outside the next day we found broken bushes and leaves and debris from the roof all around that house. We talked to the renter a few weeks later. She told us the place was haunted. That is why she would not stay there.
