Once when my daughter was about seven years old I heard the front gate rattle. As I went to check it, my daughter followed me. Standing by the yard was an old man. I have never seen this person before in my life but he knew both our names. It was surreal, and I even felt apprehensive. He asked me for water then commented on how fast my daughter was growing. By now she was trying to get around me and go to this man, but I kept easing her back behind me. I just didn't have a good feeling. So when he left I asked her why she kept trying to approach him and she said ''I wanted to go with them.'' She had seen a little girl kneeling down beside him. All I saw was the man.

Late one night my sister and I were going to the store. Once in the car she turned to me slowly and said ''listen to me. I want you to open the door, get out of the car, and RUN!'' I ran to the house so hard and fast I couldn't breathe. She told our mom there was a man in the back seat watching her in the rear view mirror. The scariest part was there was no expression on his face just a cold stare. I believe if she had not looked in that mirror we would never have been seen again.
