on for about thirty seconds until the door was forced open, and the room went quiet. The volunteer no longer was pinned to the bed.
From that day

on he never slept inside the volunteer room or in the station again, opting to watch TV or sleep in his car instead. For weeks he didn't tell anybody of the occurrence, opting instead for an excuse about sleeping in. It took much longer for him to admit the most disturbing part of his encounter, the shadow of a woman cast of the wall.
One by one the spirit, now nicknamed the Bangor Banshee for the scream it made, targeted the fire fighters
