At dusk in the summer of 2008 in Blythe CA. I was going for my evening walk. It is much cooler in the evenings in the summer. I walk around the Blythe municipal golf course and sometimes up wells Rd. North of the i-10 up on the mesa.

There is an old army air base up there that was used to train bomber pilots in WWII. I didn't know that at the time. I didn't even know what the dilapidated buildings were only that one looked like an airplane hanger.

During my walk by the old base I happened to look over to my right where the base was and saw several WWII airplanes lined up on the tarmack the metal shining in the waning sunlight. It startled me I got cold chills shook looked forward to the west the direction I was walking looked back again and they were gone.
I don't know what type of airplanes I saw but if shown a picture I could spot them. Submitted by Stephanie

My fiancé and I were driving back from La to Phoenix and we were tired so we pulled off on a road near Blythe to take a little nap. I couldn't sleep because I kept hearing noises and the area felt creepy to me.
