Comment by Ricky: Rumors go the old lemon fields in Camarillo 2 land owners there would kidnap people and kill them on the property. They would also set them free and hunt for sport.

The ghost of Bill is said to be seen on Santa Rosa Rd near the high school. He was killed in Nov. 1970 by a drunk driver while riding his bike through there after dark. He has been seen standing along the shoulder near the spot where he was killed.

Odd thing is he still looks like a young man.

There is an Indian maiden that walks wood road towards Point Mugu. The legend is she watched the love of her life go out fishing in his canoe off Mugu and he never returned. She presumed he was dead and threw herself into the ocean because she was overcome by grief.
