in a bunk. Sometimes staff see 'the kid' walk in or out of the bathroom. Some staff often gets an extra body in their counts due to 'the kid. ' Wards that are near release often see another ward staring at them as if envious at their going home. When they muster the courage to talk or say something 'the kid' fades away.

I was in my apartment at the Camp Lockett area one night. When I looked out the window I saw about 16 men dressed in uniform sitting at the table of a bench with 8 on one side and 8 on the other. They were looking toward the east, and it was about 11 pm. The uniforms were grey in color, and the De meaner was very calm, and there didn't seem to be any noise outside except a disturbance in the 408 apartments. It was as if they were waiting for the marriage of a fellow man. As I listened he was to ascend the stairs and come out at the top and appear with his bride in the south facing window.
