The figure of a man with a hat is seen looking out the second floor window of a building in Carpinteria. It looks like he is dressed in the styles of the 1950s or 1940s. It's like he's waiting for something. I have heard a restaurant is also haunted.

I was one night walking through Carpinteria because my boyfriend and I got in a fight and he left me downtown in carp it was about 1 am in the morning so obviously no one was there to ask for a ride so as I walking home was about a mile or so I was in front of the fountain in front of vons, and then I see a man reading a newspaper and right now I was freaking out because he was dressed.
