I would wake up in tears screaming at my mom to not come in. The house that backed up the freeway is where my uncles and mom grew up in. My uncle used to swear it was haunted. He said that something would chase him out of his room. He slept in my mom's closet a lot out of fear of being in his room.

Comment by Jaco: If you're talking about the house on Selwyn with the extra big backyard facing the 405 Freeway near 213th Street, then I know for fact that 2-story house is haunted. My uncle and aunt with my two cousins lived there in the early 1970s.

Carson High School is haunted. I know because I worked there for years. In the middle of the night disappearing in the first light of dawn a ghostly figure silvery and transparent can be seen running around the track.
The story was that a student was a champion track start and woke early every day to run the rack before day break. He was killed by a drunk driver while walking to school. It seems that he is still dedicated to running.
He has been seen by many students, teachers, and administrators over the years. I have heard that there is even a youtube video where the runner can be seen.
