owners of the happenings, but they said it was impossible as they had the beach house recently blessed by a priest. Strange things happened during that week. It started when we first arrived and ended just when we left.

A few years ago we stayed at a beach house with a bunch of friends. One night after dark we were looking out at the beach and noticed a woman dressed in a long white dress walking towards the water. There was fog coming in and she was only partly visible but once she reached the water's edge we could see the waves breaking through her dress.

She appeared to keep walking straight out into the ocean. 7 or 8 of us witnessed this and were hollering after her to stop but she continued on and disappeared. We are convinced to this day that it was a ghost encounter.

Any one ever had any ''interesting'' things happen while staying at a vacation home in Cayucos? We had a very ghostly encounter on our weekend visit. We encountered the presence of a lady in a long black Victorian style dress with her hair pulled tightly in a bun who seemed to not like the fact that we were in the home. On another morning we were awakened by something crawling under the covers up from the foot of the bed which was small like a child. This was very frightening, and thankfully it was our last night there. We tried to email the owner as well as the vacation rental, but no one would respond to our email.
