We live in an area of Cedar Glen about a mile from old mill where the houses have been mainly burned out and there are only a very few retired inhabitants. We get knocking occasionally on doors windows and even the side of the house.
In addition nearly every night we hear what sounds like a group of people talking very low just outside the house. We have gone outside and investigated many times and found nothing.

Comment by Norm: We recently moved out of burned out area of Cedar Glen because we had the same thing at our house. This includes knocking on the door and pounding on the side of the house. Low voices at night sometimes waking us. Pretty weird.

I have a friend whose cousins used to live the street called Old Mill Road and there's a clearing near the road and he's heard the same disembodied noises of gunshots, and barking dogs in that clearing he also said there is supposed to be a abandoned old mill that looks like it was built during the 1800s. He says you can hear footsteps and knocking and voices but no one's around creepy.
