only come half way or stay out for a few minutes. Then she would book it back to our room. She left me hanging. She sacrificed me to my doom, but I can't blame her.
Well when the lights were finally off and me and dolly tried to close our eyes shed sleep next to me and Id lay there for a while hoping nothing would happen this night. I normally heard whispers (but like a group of them,) so it always sounded muttered. I'd see shadows of kids. I heard

movements, and I saw Dolly looking at things. She would move her head trying to follow their movement. I heard boot-like footsteps in our laundry room

outside my bedroom door. Sometimes even as if someone was trying to stand over me because my blankets felt like someone was on them. In the past as a kid at the other places I used to live in I'd hear my name being called into a dark room I knew nobody was in. Something grabbed me. Once it reached through my mattress from under my bed and tried to pull me downward through my bed.
