I lived at a house across the street from Katey Jakes for three years. The garage is haunted. I thought I was crazy when I heard my mom call my name. I was alone until my uncle stopped by for lunch one day. The first thing he asked ''is this house haunted?'' He heard my sister, although she was at school. One night my friend and I walked out of my house ready to start our night. We both caught a look of a shadow figure of a man standing under the street light.
We made our way to the car and asked each other if he was looking at my house. We got in the car and pulled out of the driveway. We decided to just forget it and get out of the car, but he was gone! He disappeared! We were both in disbelief because we would have seen him run. We would have heard something! We took our eyes off this figure for not even ten seconds. FYI, this all happened in no more than one minute! Lastly it never hit me until later that he was standing directly under a light pole. He looked like a shadow wearing a hat looking at my house! He had no skin color, nothing. He was just a shadow.

Comment by D. Ruiz: I was living in La Puente when we had a small earthquake and when I looked out the window I saw a shadow man leaning on the nearest light post facing my house looking at me. He had a hat on and he disappeared the moment I blinked but when I looked towards my neighbors house but there were floated dobermenpinchers with red eyes and their fangs were a little longer than usual.
I screamed and my dad came running in and they were all gone.

I lived on E. Queenside Dr. in Covina. Strange things would happen when I was there. TVs would turn on to old music in the middle of the night. And one night during my childhood I woke up to see my cousin's cabbage-patch kid sitting at the foot of my bed.
