I worked at the old Seaside hospital in 1986 before they moved it to Washington Boulevard. I worked nights in OB. One night I was all alone on the OB unit. The desk faced the wall while I was sitting, and I saw someone walk by the labor and delivery rooms. The rooms were at a dead end, one on the right and left. There was nowhere to go but in then out. I went to the rooms and found nothing. The emergency room was the next exit, so I went to see if they

had someone that fit the description, gray haired, bearded, thin tall man in green scrubs.
One of the RNs there, after I had given my description

of the person, said ''you met our Dr Green. '' ''Who is he?'' I asked. The RN cleared her throat and said ''he comes around at night since his death. '' She told me he was driving to the hospital for a delivery 10 years ago and got in a single car wreck, decapitated at the scene. He never made it to the delivery, so his spirit comes to the OB department every once and a while. He is friendly and will not harm you. He can be pretty playful at times.
