Carbon monoxide detector. And a need for spiritual repair with Jesus? Holy spirit is a helper and guide. Call on him. Maybe this is your dream retirement home. Submitted by ALTravelGal

Our daughter's cabin is part of the lodge that burnt down across from the old ''Crestline Inn.'' They cabin is always cold. Even if the heat was on it was cold. You get a feeling of not wanting to stay there for very long. My daughter can only stay there for one day. She gets violently sick with headaches, so does my husband. It was going to be our retirement home. My daughter cannot stay there and has not been there in two years. The cabin is cold, and it is not a happy place to be. After one day you can hear the people singing in the church behind the cabin on Sundays. The air in the cabin is heavy, and you have to leave. You are filled with anger and hate.

I used to live in this town and owned a huge home on Bernard Drive. We got knocking on the walls. My mom visited our home and decided never to go back. She had a episode of someone shoved her off the couch. Doorbell would ring while no one there. Submitted by Ger

There is a 51-year-old unsolved crime from 1965 in Crestline, CA. The Boles family murders (there was a movie made about it still available.) I was a young kid at the time. My dad's boss had a cabin down the road from the cabin where they were killed. Three weeks after this terrible murder our family and a couple of others were invited up, and three of us kids took a walk up the road. I had heard about this crime. As kids do, we walked up to the place as no one was around, and it was fairly isolated at the time. It had no curtains in the window. We looked in the front window and saw where the dog had been on the couch. We went around the back, and the door was open just slightly. Don't know why, but it had to be by mistake.
