I used to live in the C. Hotel which is above Toot's tavern in Crockett, CA. Let me tell you there's hell of ghosts up in the hotel. A friend of mine says there is a portal in the one room where I know there is ghosts living in.
Anyway when I lived there you could be in my room and hear voices talking but as soon as you open the door and step in the hallway they would stop. You could always hear even footsteps in the hallway and I lodged a door

one time in a doorway to keep the cold air out of the rest of the hallway well I saw that door come out of being lodged in and almost fall on my boyfriend

who was telling the story of ghosts up there to a friend of ours.
I have even envisioned some of them and what they wear. I believe in them always have and they're up there in the hotel for sure.

Comment by Lou: Next to Toots Tavern used to be a deli owned by Toots and his son. Above the deli there were a few apartments. Sometime in the 1960s mid 60s there was a fire and early 20s guy died in the fire.
