When we lived in Culver City we had all kinds of strange things happen. The biggest problem was with our phone; we would get phantom calls with just dead air on the other end all the time. We would also hear voices that were not those of the person we had called. One day as I was on hold with my dentist's office I noticed an increasing amount of static on the line before a raspy voice said ''you've got to help me! I'm in serious trouble!'' My husband asked

me what had happened because I had gone completely white, so I said I'd tell him as soon as I hung up the phone. I finished my call and told him what

I'd heard. He agreed it was creepy, but wondered if it was kids messing around. I said I hoped so but didn't know. Later one of our cats kept staring at a certain spot on the wall and chirping like he was stalking prey while his brother wouldn't go anywhere near it, so I don't think it was anyone who was alive.
