My husband and I lived in a house on the corner of 424 and 96. It has been torn down, but when we lived there we could hear a car pull up next to the house on gravel. Then the car door would open and slam shut. Then you could hear footsteps coming up the walkway to the door. Other people also witnessed this besides my husband and me. There was also a presence in the small bedroom that led to the bathroom. It was a shadow like person. I held my Bible towards the doorway one night and repeatedly told it to go away in the name of Jesus multiple times during a night when it was scaring me and our little Chihuahua.

After that it didn't bother me anymore, but we moved out about it month later. The people that moved into the house after us also experienced scary things happening and noises, but they lived there anyway for about 10 years. Then the house got torn down when they moved out.

As I read through these stories I keep coming across stories about DHS that match my experience almost to a tee. I was late for school one morning back in 2007 and was told there was an assembly in the auditorium.
