A few minutes later I started to fall asleep when I heard a man angrily yell HEY! Really loud into my ear. My first thought it was the owner of the house we parked next to, or maybe a cop. But when I looked out the window there was no one there.
It scared the bajeezus out of me because I literally felt their breath on my neck too! But my window was closed and no one around! 20 minutes later we were on the road again and I told my mother what happened.

then told me she hadn't fallen asleep and just had her eyes shut because she felt like she was being watched and someone was breathing on her neck too!.

In the summer of 2004 my wife 2 daughters and toddler son were on our way from Novato CA to Portland OR to visit my sister and her family. My wife had made online reservations at a lodge in Dunsmuir.
When we got to the lodge they said they had no record of our reservation and did not have any rooms. We told them that we were in a bind and they said they had a house on the property and often rented out the first floor in its entirety.
