I grew up in a house off of Chase Avenue on Laguna Avenue, and it was haunted. When sitting in the lower living room of the house, which was an addition, we would frequently see a figure standing at the top of the two steps that led down into the lower living room.
All of my family members and multiple friends had seen it. It never did anything but stand there and watch. We considered it very friendly as nothing malicious ever took place in those specific

events. After my dad passed away, we began seeing it walking down the hallway towards the back bedrooms in the house but never anything other than that.

day I was the only one at home, and I was in my bedroom working on some paperwork for my job at the time. Typically I would shut my door whilst in my room, but for whatever reason I had left it open that day.
I was working diligently on my paperwork in silence. Then suddenly clear as day and quite loud, I heard my dad's voice. (At that point he had been deceased for around six or seven years). He said very casually, ''What're you doing?''
