My grandmother lived in an old historic house on 4th and Hickory when I was a child. Whenever I spent the night I would hear noises in the attic, and the wood floor under me would creak all night long. I never heard or saw anything during the day, only at night. The house has since been torn down and is a medical building. Submitted by R

One time on Miller Ave. My friends and I were hanging around Miller Elementary School having a great time skateboarding and stuff. It was about dusk time, and since I don't live too far away the guys decided to walk me home in the dark. As we were leaving we all swear we saw a tall skinny, dark black figure running towards us. It was coming from the direction of where all the horses are behind the school. We all ran like bats out of hell and hopped the fence and never stayed until dark again. Submitted by Anna
Comment by Anonymous: Did that figure show any signs that he was a ghost such as actually running through a fence with no gate instead of climbing it? If not you should have reported this to the police because the figure probably was not a ghost. He may have been a real criminal who was trying to rob kidnap or even murder you.
