We also found the original house permit behind the boards that hold the front door in place. We were replacing the old door so we had to rip it out but it is from when they built the house which states that the house was built in 1909. Just a little creepy to add on top of all the other weird things that have been happening in the house.
It continues to come around some nights, it just becomes the feeling of being watched (happens mostly in the kitchen,

home owner they can't be too upset with us. We are trying to make something that was beautiful in the past reach it's potential in today's world, so I think that it's actually happy that we're here fixing it back up.
Personal opinion though! If I let it scare me that's when it gets worse, so why not just live in peace with it so I don't lose my mind living in this house! Hah.
