When I was about 4 years old my grandparents lived in a house directly across from vanden High School. At the time there were no other houses out there and it was always dark and spooky. Even though I was little I do remember always being scared in that house. Every time I went in the bathroom the door would shut and lock on it's own. I always had to bang on the door to get out. In the dining room at all time's was a huge white circle. My grandma said that she always thought it was a spot light from the school but when you would step in it it was still there and didn't cause a shadow.

On many nights my grandma would come home late from the store and she said that she was so scared of the house that she would drive away and sleep in the car cause she didn't want to go in. My grandparents also noticed that their kitchen counter tops were made out of stainless steal and they always thought that was unusual.

One day they talked to the previous owners. They found out that a man chocked to death and fell exactly where the spot light was and the counter tops were from a morgue where they laid out the dead bodies. They moved out and never went back. That was almost 30 years ago. I drove by that house the other day. It's still there and people live there. I wonder how things are going for them. Submitted by Gina
