When visiting the cemetery at dusk I saw several green glowing hovering mini orbs on a distant hillside across from the church. My husband and I quickly left. Submitted by JM

There was a witch named Anny who was buried in the cemetery. She wasn't a witch really though she used Native American medicine and was condoned as a witch.

This cemetery is haunted by the ghost of a girl named Sarah Miller who was hanged from a tree in 1870 for being a witch. She is seen wandering the grounds at night. Three black dogs haunt this graveyard as well. They chase people out of the cemetery then disappear. There is a stone mausoleum towards the back of the graveyard behind the cemetery fence. It is the resting place of a vampire. The doors are welded shut and a plaque that reads ''do not open approach at your own risk you have been warned''. You can see into the mausoleum through vent holes in the back, the casket is a dark violet color with a huge cross on the top. Submitted by Parsiphany
Comment by James: The name of the cemetery is St. Marys and I have been there myself and saw the vampire's tomb. The place is very haunted and so creepy to look at. Actually both cemeteries in Ferndale, CA. are creepy and haunted.
