I grew up in Fields Landing. I lived with my family in an old large house. One time I was in downstairs bedroom sleeping. I always left my bedroom door ajar about 4 inches. I woke up just as it was getting daylight facing the door.
I saw a man with a Fedora style hat and dark clothes jacket just inside my room. He had a stubble beard like he hadn't shaved for several days. I was instantly afraid then this calmness came to me like I heard someone say

''it's alright everything is OK.
Just go back to sleep''. A feeling of calmness came over me and a feeling of security. I turned over and went back

to sleep. Later when I awoke I saw my door was wide open. My parents slept in the next room and when I told them about this they said they did not see or hear anything.
My older sister had always claimed she saw people upstairs. When I described this man to her she said she had seen the same man upstairs.
