Twice in one year I have had a very odd sighting while night fishing outside of Firebaugh Dos Palos area. Both events occurred in the same location with two different people. It was a strange light about a mile away that swayed left to right traveling along the canal bank. The light would shut off for two or three seconds, and when it turned back on it was a considerable distance closer. A distance a person cannot travel on foot or bike in that short

amount of time. It was also not a vehicle because it was only one light and could clearly be seen swinging left to right. Both times I have seen this

I got a very creepy feeling a little before. The first time I saw it my friend and I left once it was getting closer.
The second time we tried to wait it out. As it proceeded closer every time the light would turn back on. We then packed all our gear and waited in the car with it in drive. We waited looking out the windows tracking its distance by where the light was when it would turn back on. Then a white image of what looked like a woman
