I lived there in the 1990s to 2000s before the big rebuild. Then you would hear footsteps in the middle of the night running on the roof. I still can't explain that after they fixed those apartments is when things got scary there. If you have any info on the old Duchow apartments before the 1990s, I would love to get some more info. The apartments were behind the old Rite Aid.

My friend and I were sharing ghost stories at her house. She told me this one story that really freaked me out. Apparently when her house was still being built a piece of debris fell on top of a construction worker.

He died but he was very young so it was sad. She was acting out something that had happened to her once. Part of her story was she was going upstairs so she turned the TV off. She showed me by making a fake remote out of air and pressing down a fake button.
When she did the TV turned on for a split second. It was a picture of a man sitting down in a chair. We were both terrified. We had know idea what to do. I wanted to make a circle out of salt and stand in it but that would make a mess and her mom would get mad when she got home so we just stood there in fear not knowing what to do.
That was the scariest moment of my life. Then I started even seeing reflections of a man in her school portrait hanging on the wall.
