I use to live in an apartment on Live Oak about 3 to 4 blocks north of Merrill. I was probably around 6 or 7... Around midnight or 1 am I would see people walking down the hall. My bed would face the open door of my room which lead to the hall.

I used to hate it so much. The crazy thing is that these people had an outdated fashion like if they were trapped in some other era like the 1920's or so. The last time I ever saw anybody walk down the hall (and it still gives me chills to this day) it was an old lady in a white dress.
She had grey hair and she looked Cuban (as it was a Cuban community at the time) she stopped right in front of my room, looked at me with a cold stare and gestured me with her index finger to go to her, and she continued walking down the hall into what was the kitchen.
When I gathered the courage I got out of my bed and went to the kitchen only to see nobody was there. I finally told my mom about this encounter and I described the old lady... Turns out she used to live in the apartment before us.
