I was born in Fort Irwin in 1984 and pretty much spent most of my life back and forth on that road. My dad used to tell us about the crosses on the road and what happened. My sister and I used to see ''people'' on the road all time and it scared us. When I got older I actually worked out there and knew of the many accidents. The one that always stuck with me was of two men on motorcycles who crashed while trying to avoid hitting a nurse. The nurse had worked a long shift then went to outer limits and had a few drinks. Her car broke down, and she was walking down the middle of the road. We named it Death Road. Submitted by Donna

My husband and I were stationed there in 2012-2015. I experienced a lot of crazy things. Nothing was harmful, but we had a two-year-old son that saw men all the time. One particular one was named Tom, and he looked like daddy and was really nice. Then there were times I'd be bathing him, and he'd ask who that man was who was standing behind me. He was young and innocent, and honestly it didn't bother me because I never felt threatened. It actually felt comforting to have him around.

My husband was always gone. Well, I caught a few on camera. This one is when I worked at the Ruba and was getting ready to PCS. Well, I wanted to take a memory picture. There is a headless soldier next to me, and obviously there was no one there when I went to take the picture. The other is a video. We were playing with my neighbor's little girl, and a misty smoke goes by the camera. We do not smoke, and there would be no reason for it. I think it was Tom. Submitted by Heather

Me and my brother have always had problems with our house. Even when we were at Fort Irwin as little kids. I've always had problems like that. And moving here I thought there would be a change. But when I was younger there were times where I would see a shadow move quickly down the stairs.
