There has been so much death at that base. I was stationed there in 1995 to 1999, and the number of suicides and murder/suicides was insane. I lived in the barracks across from the ''outer limits'' club. I was there when the club was built. Anyways I never had issues in that barracks. I moved into base housing on Appomattox right next to the one on the corner. I wish I could remember the house number.

Anyways I always heard strange things in that house, and so did my wife. I once was locked in the garage after going out there to get something. The door was unlocked, and I left it open. I went into the garage, and the door slammed behind me and locked. When my wife came home I cursed the entity and challenged it. I believe it has followed me since then. Very creepy. Also on that street a husband shot his wife and then killed himself while I was there. Anyone else have anything on that street?.

Comment by Bruce: My daughter lived on Appomattox Street at the end in the right hand corner. Her house was haunted.

I am glad my husband and I were not the only ones experiencing ''the unexplained. '' We have lived here on post a little over a year. When we first moved into our house we felt really uneasy for the first few weeks. Then the eerie feeling subsided, but we would feel that familiar feeling periodically like someone was watching us. My husband, however, is experiencing more of this activity than I am. He has heard footsteps in our bedroom. We have a newborn now, so I am sleeping downstairs with her while he is alone upstairs.
