I had this happen to me once years ago. Here's the story. I was in a newly built convenience store on Brookhurst one night in the 1970s, and I heard popping noises. The owner said ''the old man is trying to get your attention.'' Soda necks with intact caps were breaking off the bottles in the wall coolers. The owner had a basket full of them which he saved to turn in for credit to the supplier(s). The old man had refused to sell his home to a new shopping

center developer. His house burned down one night with him in it the year before supposedly an accident. The newly built store was haunted by the old

man, the owner (lessor of the store) said whom he believed was murdered in his sleep. True story. (Garden Grove, CA 1975).

I live on Macduff St. In the 116xx area. I live here most of my life and put my mother in an assistant living and obtained her home after she passed away there. She told me she saw dark shapes in her home and people walking in her yard.
