I live in an area of town with a lot of spirit activity near the skate park, so I've had a lot of strange experiences in the past 7 years, but today really took the cake!! I've known for a long time that my neighbor's house is haunted; I've sensed the spirits of a woman and child there for a long time. From the street I've seen altars and religious imagery in the room the spirits dwell in, so I know my neighbor is aware of them.
I hadn't actually thought about them in a long time, but tonight when I walked past the house I noticed something out of the corner of my eye. I looked up and saw a vague white image approaching the window that became more defined as I watched. It was a woman in a long dress, and she appeared to be holding something. After about 20 seconds she came clearly into focus right in front of the window and remained there for about another 15 seconds or so. I stood there petrified until she faded away and went home to pray!!.

What is with this town? Since we've moved here I've heard voices. Stuff has been moved when no one was in the room. A friend was over and heard the front door open, but it never moved. When she looked up she saw someone with wild hair walk heavily up 5 or 6 steps before disappearing. My husband and I were in the yard at the time, and that's just for starters. My husband still wasn't entirely convinced. We still had spirits until two things happened.
One night we tried to watch ''the Entity'' on a brand-new DVD, and it kept having problems until I said 'okay, cut it out!'' After that there was not one issue with it. However, as we were watching the Roomba vacuum started up when no one was even near it. It came toward us, paused, and went back to the docking station.
Since then we've had so many strange incidents that we had a house blessing ritual done which really helped. Before we had it done my spiritual advisor warned that something strange could happen before the spirits left. Sure enough the next morning I woke up to find our dog's pillow case on the floor and a cockroach sealed into one of the compartments. Things are better, but we're still having another blessing done soon!.
