Last year I awoke to what sounded like burglars entering my house. I grabbed my phone and dialed 911 but held off on the green button just in case of false alarm. I tiptoed downstairs with my thumb on the green button.

I looked into the kitchen and saw a black mist hovering in the kitchen. I had no clue what to do about this but if I called 911 they would lock me up so I put the phone down. I grabbed a newspaper and started swatting the thing like a fly.
That made it dissipate and it was gone. I think maybe because I attacked it without fear it went away.
