Before I ever moved here to Kimball ave in Hesperia I had heard about grandpa Ray haunting the back room where he supposedly had passed away. Grandpa Ray was a family member of the former home owners, they even wrote his name on the back patio in the cement but he doesn't seem to be malevolent. Actually when we were fixing up the area before I moved in the back attached unit where I live and he passed I made a deal with him to not make him leave if he left me entirely alone, and it seems to be working so far. However he has moved the chairs in the dining room of my daughters part of the home. Like one morning she left the kitchen after making coffee and went to the other room; when she returned a chair was pulled out like someone had sat down to join her.

If the spirit is Ray he likes to rattle the doors loudly on the closet in my daughters room, sometimes also unexplained noises are heard coming from the room where he passed at night. And at one time my son in law woke up to see an orb floating over my daughters head.

As well as sometimes out of the corner of your eye you can see a shadow move by thinking someone is walking by, and when you look no one is there. I have fixed up the area very nice and made it a living room where he passed and I think that is why he doesn't bother me because perhaps he likes how it looks now and doesn't want to harm anyone.

Comment by M: I believe ''Grandpa Ray'' just wants to be part of a ''family'' again. Sometimes we refuse to leave, especially if we like where we are or he could be confused just treat him with respect and acknowledge his presence. You can even scold him if he makes you mad.
