I walked my dog yesterday at the Preservation Park close to Ridgeline. We saw a girl on a bike (who kinda came out of nowhere, but I really wasn't paying attention yet; I wish I was. ) It was hard to tell her age - anywhere between 16 and 25-26. She spoke with a heavy (Eastern-European) accent and needed to find Goldenglow Street. Everything about her was off. She had no backpack or a purse. Her bike had a basket in front that was filled with what looked like old scarves, underwear, handkerchiefs, etc. Yet she didn't look homeless at all (she had a nice helmet on and printed directions from the Internet. )
My dog, who's a S. U. C. K. E. R. For bikes and a huge love-bug, barely looked at her. I was very surprised because I expected to need to calm her down as usual, but she only barely acknowledged the strange woman. Also, the girl seemed to not give my pit-bull a second glance (or first; that's the only person I've ever met who didn't show any reaction to seeing a Pit-bull- positive or negative), only said - I like dogs and proceeded to ask for directions.
I carefully explained to her where she needed to go, but she stayed looking bored, almost not interested, and never asked a single question or made a remark. She just stood there, and I remember thinking that I appeared more interested in finding her destination than her. Then the final weirdness took place. I wished her a good day and left. Several (SEVERAL as in 2, 3, or 4) seconds later I turned to see if she's going in the right direction, AND SHE WAS NOWHERE TO BE SEEN.
I have no history of mental illness in my family. I have not been experiencing weird encounters. I was sane and sober that day, but I swear the woman vanished! I walk my dog there almost every day. She had no place to go let alone disappear on me in under 5 seconds! There's a straight narrow path in the park and nothing else around! I've been insane for the past two days trying to understand what just happened to me, and that's how I found this site. After reading the stuff from here, I can only say - thank you guys, I knew I wasn't crazy.

As a 10 year old I would always see a tall lady almost wherever I went. It was only places such as Costco, the Heritage Library, and local markets. She was above 6 feet for sure and had a pale face with a bowl hair cut.
She had weird eyes and always wore one of those masks that the doctors wear. She always wore those wooden high heels. I don't know why but looking at her as a kid was terrifying. I paid no mind because I had only seen glimpses of her but I don't know why I never told my parents or anyone about her.
