About where Big Valley Road crosses the river today there was a gruesome murder before the town was built. I'm not sure who was killed by who but you can look it up in old criminal records. The point is that the eastern Riverbank under the bridge is still haunted by the ghost of the man who was killed there all those years ago.
If you go down there on a quiet day and wait you will see a shadow of a man moving along the ground but there is no one there to cast the shadow. If you don't believe me just go down there and you will believe me.
