Well, I have been doing investigations into the paranormal for the past ten years as a hobby with my two friends. I stopped five years ago but started up again and our first place to investigate after five years was Estelli Park in La Habra. Rumor has it someone hanged themselves on an ash tree in the 70s. Based on the rumor we wanted to see if the spirits would talk to us and find truth from fiction. What we found was far more than we bargained for and surpassed the short EVP clips and noises we would pick up on investigations in Whittier CA five years prior.
We not only stumbled on something that was angry and malevolent, but it travels so be warned if you attempt to contact the spirit who calls itself ''the boss. '' There is also a spirit called Bob. Not sure if these are both the same spirit or different, but there is a additional third entity who identified itself as Terry, and this spirit claimed there was a suicide and a hanging in an EVP.
We started an EVP session on the bleachers, and we got our first EVP the entity called Terry. Terry answered my question, ''did someone die here?'' with ''yes suicide. '' I asked ''how did you die?'' It said ''hanging. '' I asked ''what is your name?'' It said ''Terry'' Then I asked ''when did you die?'' It responded with ''he's coming. Hide. '' I asked ''who's coming?'' After that we lost contact. Fifteen minutes in we began hearing knocking on the bleacher seats in the distance. I asked ''could you do that again?'' It would repeat on command, but the knocks were in series of three. My friend then knocked three times in response, and it would knock three times back. You could clearly see no one is on the other side. I then asked ''who is here?'' It responded ''Bob. '' I asked ''did you die here?'' It said ''no. ''
After that EVP my friend began feeling a burning sensation on his back. Upon investigation to the source we found that he had three long scratches that drew small amounts of blood. I asked the spirits ''who did this? Was it Bob? Or Terry?'' We get the response ''me'' I asked ''who is me?'' It replied ''the boss. '' My friend was then attacked by an unseen force as scratches began to appear on his arms, chest, and legs, so we ended our session and went to the Depot Theater to try and make contact to a little girl known to haunt there. To our surprise we find Bob yet again, and the scratches on my friend continued.
We ended that session as soon as it started my friends' safety was more important. We then headed down Lambert Road to get a late night meal then went to the parking lot of a park to review our evidence some more. It was during this time my friend began feeling the burning yet again, and the scratches continued. I then used my digital recorder and asked ''who is creating the scratches? It needs to stop. '' The EVP we got back was just a sinister laugh. We left the park and returned home and pleaded to the Lord Jesus to protect us from these unseen spirits which I presume to be demonic.
My friend no longer comes with us on our ghost hunts and has now been baptized at a local church and reports no further harassment from these spirits, but be warned contacting them is not a wise thing to do. By far this was the most compelling evidence of the paranormal I have ever encountered.
