Needless to say I get my mom and tell her what I just heard so she turns on the backyard light to assure me nothing was there and of course nothing was. She tells me that it was just a opossum or something and not to worry and she goes back to bed.
I figure she's right and I try to go to bed with the TV and the light on and 20 minutes later it starts up again. So I go get my mom again who is much less pleased to prove it's an animal this time and

tells me to just ignore whatever it is and go to bed.
And of course right on queue 20 minutes later it starts up again, so I turn my TV up a little
|
louder put a pillow over my head and finally get to bed. The sound of wiping on the glass sliding door continues until I moved out of the house with my wife at the time years later but with really no pattern and not every night but as the years go on much worse things start to happen.
When I was about 13 I would wake up without the ability to speak or even scream let alone move. Thankfully the night paralysis stops after I go to summer camp the following
