My husband also heard it and said it was air or water moving through the pipes. I too believed that because there was no other explanation for the noise. I also felt chilly in certain areas of our room. I felt a really noticeable cold spot or draft when I sat in one of the chairs in the room. Again, it could be easily explained by the fact that the resort is old and potentially drafty. But, the weirdest thing was when we were walking to our room after

dinner. We both saw what appeared to be small patches of fog or mist in the distance. This was behind the lobby on the path where the roses are. We commented

that the sprinklers must be reflecting the lights somehow, and that is was creating some foggy patches. When I was telling a friend about the resort, she jokingly mentioned that it was probably haunted. I just don't know, but some of my experiences lead me to wonder.

Many people know of La Quinta's history. There were many deaths and bodies dumped there, before the houses were built. Well one night me and my two cousins had left our friend's house back to my cousins Chaveli's house. I live in Cathedral City so getting to a house only a drunk girl knows the way to was hard. As we walked we finally had made it to the cove. At night it wasn't easy knowing the streets, so we got lost or took the long way trying to find the house. As we walked I noticed a man's legs hanging from the tree. I immediately freaked out. You can easily see how the socks were shaped as feet, so it wasn't just pants or laundry hanging on the tree. As it twirled around it got creepier.
