I was sleeping at the Waldorf La Quinta Resort about a week ago, and I woke from my sleep to run to the bathroom. Once I woke up I noticed an older lady with hair pulled back and glasses. She was sitting just above my daughter who was sleeping. I rubbed my eyes assuming I had to be seeing things. I was so shocked. I couldn't talk or do much of anything at all. I made myself get up and wash my face with cold water. I didn't see her with the light on. Once I lay back down, there she was again.
She was fidgeting with her finger nail and didn't seem remotely aware of me. It was as if I could see her, and she could not see me. I was a bit scared and grabbed my daughter's hand and pulled her closer to me in the hotel bed. I kept looking and thinking how this was possible. I finally fell asleep.

In the morning, my daughter asked if I held her hand in the middle of the night or if she was dreaming. I told her what happened. I wasn't so scared anymore because the lady seemed harmless and totally unaware of me. Now I can't stop thinking about how cool it was and would like to go back and stay in the room again to see if I experience this again.

I once lived in a home in the La Quinta Cove located on Avenida Alvarado and Calle Ensenada. It was back in 2003 that my family rented a 1990s built home, nothing fancy. It had three bedrooms, two baths, and a creepy hidden room in the garage behind a false wall. I was around 10 years old at the time and enjoyed the home because it had a large backyard to play in.
