Had a handful of very very odd experiences at the top of the cove in La Quinta where the trail head is there's an empty parking area in a lot of dirtů go late at night and you're bound to have a story to tell.

Comment by Desert: Living in the area I always heard that La Quinta was built under Native American land. These so many stories I hear from friends and also post about the cove. My friend mentioned his neighbor house was haunted and the tenants don't end up staying.
They come and go but I wouldn't be surprised if you encounter something unexplained.

I once lived in a home in the La Quinta Cove located on Avenida Alvarado and Calle Ensenada. It was back in 2003 that my family rented a 1990s built home, nothing fancy. It had three bedrooms, two baths, and a creepy hidden room in the garage behind a false wall. I was around 10 years old at the time and enjoyed the home because it had a large backyard to play in.

One year went by and my aunt who lived with us decided to move out, so it freed up another room in the house. My parents told me I could use the spare room to display all my guitar equipment and band memorabilia and put an extra bed to sleep. The first day it was cleared out; I went ahead and started decorating, and it took me all day.

Once 11 p.m. came around I was ready for bed, so I lay down to rest. As soon as I shut the lights off and rested my head on my pillow, I could feel like something was watching me in my room. I was very young and naive to anything paranormal. I just remember feeling very uncomfortable and hot. I tossed and turned trying to ignore the strange feeling and finally laid on my back.
