I was doing a bit more research into my family tree, and I found my great grand uncle moved to LA in the 1930s. I discovered that four of their children died under the age of two. Three of the children died in a house on 2nd Street in La Verne in the 1940s. The house is still there. I looked it up :) I'm sure most people don't really know the history of the place they live. I was heading E-bound on Bonita Avenue before Pattiglen Avenue. There's a wash for Puddingstone. I saw a dark object, darker than night, and my head lights were on crossing the street that disappeared at the wash in front of my two eyes. My wife thought it was a transient on a bike with black bags, but I saw a mining cart that disappeared. I drove around the block twice, and to no avail shining my light at the wash by the church. It happened too quick. I checked the carports alongside the wash, and there was nothing.

I work at the orphanage David and Margaret home on third St. In La Verne. It is a 100 year old property.. I work in the oldest building called the Whitney building. Years ago it was the La Verne Hotel... It's beautiful but creepy at night. Doors creak lights go on and off. Strange electrical problems and cool winds are felt. I try not to stay too late...
