My family lives in a rental home on 6th Street. We see orbs dancing on the ceiling in the early morning. We hear walking at night on our wood floors. I saw a shadow child in the basement sitting on bookcase when we first moved in.
My children and I have heard a man's voice audible to the naked ear on a few occasions. Recently I was home alone and I heard a child call me momma. Our doorknobs turn/twist by themselves as well. Our house was but in 1925.

We are aware of the spirits we share our space with. They seem to have gotten used to us too.

I have lived in Laverne off Foothill and Wheeler for 35 years. Bought new. I know there is a group/family of ghosts living in the attic for about 15 years now. I see them at night well out if my peripheral view but never long enough to identify them.
For the most part they are friendly. But I get the feeling that they feel we are the intruders although I believe we were here first. Sometimes I feel an enormous sense of humor from them, other times I feel intense fear.

Comment by Diana: I have to say that much of the humor is gone. I feel something is definitely wrong. Seems that since the houses were bulldozed down for 210 freeway so many bad things have happened. My house was the cut-off for freeway and bridge to Laverne Elementary.
Lots of upheaval in my backyard. Very fearful of unknown future.
