A friend of mine lived in a house at the same corner, Riven Dale and Ridge Route/Jeronimo. His house was located on the first street to the right. The house was a two-story at the back of that street. There was a suicide there by hanging in the upstairs area. This happened while his family was renting out the house back in the 80s. Several years after the suicide, his family moved back into that house.

Many years later, in the mid to late 90s his little brother died. Could this be the small child you saw running up and down the stairs? Is the house I described your old house? The boy's name was Mathew and I believe he died when he was 8 or 9 years old. When I read your story I immediately thought of Mathew and that the house you speak of is his. Please respond, if you see this. I'm very curious.

Comment by Homeowner: There was never a suicide or child who died in this house. The owner who claims there were noises or deaths lost the home to foreclosure and made up stories to delay the sale of the home. I personally have known every owner who has lived there.
First owners had 2 children who are living happy productive lives and the parents are alive. Second owner had a son who grew up in the house and is living a happy productive life and the parents are alive.
Third owner lost the property to foreclosure and made up the story. Current owners have no issues. No one has ever hanged themselves in that home or in any house on Rivendell.
Comment by Katherine: To the person who claims my mother made this up to prevent our home from foreclosure, please be quiet. I lived in this house for 15 years before we were forced to move. Ever since I was little there were always strange things happenings such as serious noises lamps being turned on and off, and once there were tiny handprints in the ugly green carpet we used to have in the living room before my parents remodeled the downstairs and put it tile. Every person who has spent long periods of time in our house have all had some sort of ''paranormal'' experience. Stuff so random you couldn't make it up. All these things were happening way before the house was put on the market in 2009. I know something weird happened here. I lived it.
Comment by Rumble: I used to live on the cul-de-sac (rumble) that backed to houses on Rivendale. There was an old man that lived there He used to walk outside naked at night. He totally thought he was stealth. We would catch him walking around our house and the neighboring houses at night and looking in our windows. My parents confronted him and he said some very sexually inappropriate and disgusting things to my mom. My parents ended up calling the police many times and my parents threatened a restraining order. Dude was a creepy perv and our neighbor next to us had problems too and ended up selling their house because of him after they caught him taking a p**p on their driveway. Maybe he was looking in your windows and doing the same thing to you, and you mistook his talking and noises for ghosts? I think he was the one who hanged himself and died in his house, so maybe he was haunting your house?.
