Driving up Wild Cat Canyon Road, heading to Barona Casino, I saw a woman on the side of the road, and she appeared to be flagging me to stop. I stopped and rolled down the window and asked if she was ok. She was moaning in a quiet voice ''help me, help me. '' She was about two feet from me, but I couldn't see her face. I asked if there was an accident and said to her ''are you ok?'' Again she moaned and said ''help me. '' Then she started to walk off the

side of the road motioning me to follow her. I put my parking brake and emergency flashers on. I grabbed a flash light, and it was only about five seconds
|
before I was out of my truck. I followed behind her.
On the side of the road there was very steep dropping into a creek bed. I called for her and shined my light where I last saw her, and she was gone. There was no way that woman could walk off the side off that road. It was thick with thorny buck brush and fenced with barbed wire. She disappeared. My friend who was a passenger watched the whole thing, and she said to me ''That woman had no face.
