I used to live in an apartment at Marilla Sundance Apartments in Lakeside. I was only there for a year, but automatically I felt uncomfortable in a particular bedroom. My son ended up staying in the room and was having trouble sleeping in there. I felt uneasy every time I would go in his room to clean up. We decided to get a German Sheppard. He wouldn't even enter the room, and at random moments he would growl at my son's door and start barking

at it for no reason. I haven't heard any back stories about that particular unit, but I would never want to live there again.

I used to wonder if it was me or just the houses I end up living in. My first experience was on Laurel Street in Lakeside, actually 3 separate residents on Laurel. It was the complex that shared a parking lot with Woodglen Apartments on Mapleview. My apartment shared a common wall with the apartment that never rented. People would pull up start unpacking, and then they were gone (2 days max,) maybe 7-10 times it was almost rented. We lived there 18 months before they remodeled. My place was scary. We had sounds in the closet. We got the feeling you shouldn't turn our back on the closet. Lights would come on. The TV would turn off.
We moved just past Ashwood still on Laurel. That place was real scary. My son and I would never go in the second bedroom alone ever. Then the bathroom got weird. I didn't like it in there either. One night when I was in bed I kept feeling weird and jumped out of bed and put my jeans on. Weird. Then back to where Ashwood meets Laurel there was a figure of a guy that would stand just inside the doorway of the bedroom. There was a shadow figure that traveled the living room. Oh, ya. I'm forgetting the cold air that seemed to follow me. There were also big huge shadows on the wall.
