Now I live off Ballentyne in Elcajon by the underpass. This place wasn't scary at first, but I could feel something here. I've heard shuffling grocery bags and things fall off shelves and in the laundry. It's fine in the day but after dark there are scary things. There's a guy that passes through I figure he must be headed to Wells Park. Submitted by Elcajon Resident

I used to live in Elm Gardens Motorlodge for three years, I left there in 2011. From what I know to be true is that the owner of the park lived there with his wife that park was his world...

He was driving home and right there at the end of the 67 fwy he got slammed from behind right by the park, anyway he was decapitated and died at the scene his spirit is still at that park. I have actually seen him. At the time I never knew him or saw what he looked like until one night I was outside by the golf cart near the shed. It was dark but there was the outside light on and one outside the shed. I saw something appear and it was half way in the shed; a dark figure. It stood about maybe 5ft 6 inches tall if that, and like he was wearing a dark security jacket, not a very big man. I don't know why I thought it was a male, probably because of the coat. When I saw the dark figure appear he knew that I saw him. At that point the figure just disappeared but he then was standing in the doorway of the other shed right next to it. I freaked out and ran in the house and told my boyfriend to come outside, and as I was explaining where he was I showed where the dark figure stood. I couldn't help but to notice my own shadow from the light on the shed, then I realized that the figure didn't have a shadow and then I realized there was no head. All that stuck out was the jacket, and the bottom torso was just dark. Now mind you I didn't know anything about the owner, what happened to him or what he looked like until I told the manager what happened. Then they told me what happened to him and I saw a pic of him and I guess he used to wear a jacket like that. He wasn't a big man and there was no head and they said he was decapitated in the crash; that's why I didn't see a head. After I thought about it I was hoping to see him again.. I was in trailer #2 one day to clean it out; it was full of old maintenance supplies and tons of old coffee cans with nails, screws, and you name it. It was weird but I felt a presence and every time I tossed a can in the trash it was like a murmur of a voice saying (no not that one .
And he was telling me not to throw any of it out but I had to. I did make a shelf to keep some of the old cans full of nails, hardware, ect... Because I could feel he was upset. I even heard him say not that not that. I was bothered all day so I asked the manager who's stuff it was in the trailer ..
