One day I was driving on Panama Lane almost to Vineland Road, and I saw a little girl in the field crying. She was about eight years old all in red with ponytails. She was just standing there rubbing her eyes and crying. She wasn't around any houses.

I used to live on Whirlaway Street in my younger high school days. My brother was good friends with some brothers that lived on the same street. The younger brother was always walking everywhere he went. He did not drive at that time. He always walked. Tragically years later he was killed in a vehicle accident. That is when that apparition began to appear. People would see his appearance throughout the neighborhood. Some believe it is him continuing on his walking in and around the neighborhood. I knew him well. He was a great guy. He was as a polite and respectful young man as you would ever meet. I am sure he means no harm. He was a good Christian young man.

Comment by S: We lived on Reynolds for 20 years and would see him walking... Especially near the second house on whirlaway south of Reynolds. We would also see the figure of a young man walk across our property as though he were walking toward Bakersfield.
We would see this figure every single night at 10:30. There were a lot of weird paranormal things happening in that neighborhood!.

I have lived in Lamont for about four years with my fiancé in his family home. I have seen what I call shadow spirits running through our friend's yard and even our own. It has always been just out of the corner of my eye, I catch them and follow them for a few seconds. I have seen things like this nearly all my life, but never as often as I have seen these running shadows in Lamont. One night a few weeks ago I was sitting in the living room watching TV with all the lights off. It was around 10:30 pm. In the hallway straight in from of me I saw something white almost like the end of a white night gown come from my kids' room go into the bathroom. Then after a few seconds it came back out and into the hall.
