it. The feeling of something sitting on us could've been sleep paralysis, but I myself believe I never felt it before staying in that second room on side A, and I haven't felt it since moving out of that house. I wonder if the new people have any experiences.

I used to live in an apartment complex in between a church and the Boston Pizza on Bush Street with my family. Me and my three kids were possessed to an extent with trance like states that started at 8 p.m. every night. My husband became very abusive and acting strange. My three-year-old son told me that he saw a boy that would disappear into the kitchen floor where he saw his mom faced down on the ground next to him with a gunshot wound to the head, and he said the dad got in a fight in the hallway by the bathroom where he was also shot. My son ripped the paint off the wall to show me the hole from that incident.

My husband and I were stationed at NAS Lemoore in 1979. My son was 2 years old. There was a playground outside near our house with swings and a merry-go-round, but I don't really know about that. I do know this though one night my brother and his wife were visiting. It was late, and we were just sitting and talking. All of a sudden we all heard what sounded like troops running around the house. We all got up, looked out windows and doors, but of course saw nothing.
I told my neighbor about it the next day, and she told me the base was haunted and that it was believed to be the spirits of men and women who were killed in Vietnam. They came back to the base because this was where they had lived before going to Nam. Many of them had left families behind. I had a friend that was so spooked by a haunting in her home, and she became ill turning very pale and losing weight and was afraid of her own shadow. My 2-year-old son also sensed something in our house. He called it the ''hook'' and said it was in the closet of the master bedroom. Anybody else ever hear of hauntings on the base? .
