It was on Easter; a couple of cousins and I started to wander off and by the Kearney Mansion. We were specifically told not to go anywhere near it. We decided to be not very smart and wandered off to the fence or whatever. We started to laugh because my oldest cousin said something funny. I was laughing until I got a chill down my spine. Being a 9-year old I was, I almost started to cry. Because I thought somebody was watching me. It was about maybe 4 or 3 years ago don't remember, but I didn't believe in ghost in that time.
I looked up to the window and saw that the curtains were pulled open. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, but I saw a mist. I didn't see a face, but I saw a mist in the silhouette of a man. I gasped and ran off for my mom. Kearney Park still scares the living hell out of me.
My dad has some paranormal experiences there as well. One time he even said he was chased by spider monkeys, which is a mystery yet to be solved. Now that I look back and think that that was my big moment to tell everyone that I believe in ghosts, but no one would believe me. This is one of the reasons why I want to be a paranormal investigator.

In December of 2013 my friends and I saw something similar. We went out to Jackson and had a bonfire, and one of my friends suggested that we should do donuts in his car, so he and I were in the front seats while we had three more friends in the back. He started doing donuts, and we were all yelling in excitement. As he stopped doing the donuts I noticed another pair of headlights. It was a truck, so I said ''oh sh*t someone else is out here.'' We all just watched and waited to see what the truck was going do.
Next thing we saw was that the truck started doing donuts. We were all shocked for a moment and then starting cheering, so my friend started doing donuts again. When my friend stopped again we saw the truck driving away, so we decided to follow the truck. However, as we were following behind we noticed that there wasn't any dust trail and couldn't see any lights anywhere. The truck vanished. We went back to where we had our bonfire. Sorry, there wasn't anymore to this story. I just wanted to share my first paranormal experience.
